Ty Cobb autographed photo

 hi all-

i am trying to figure out if this is worth anything. I found it in my parents storage shed. My mom couldn’t remember what it was or how they got it.  We don’t know if we should sell, can sell it or where to get it valued or authenticated  

Any info is greatly appreciated.

And in later years, the "T" of Ty is often formed more like the number '2', as in this one.

Yes it is a 7 x 9 inches

Thank you very much for your input. I believe it is an 8 x 10 photo. I am on my way over to my moms here in a few minutes and I will measure it. It could be 7 x 9.  I’ve just never heard of 7 x 9.

Here's an 8x10 of the same shot that sold at Lelands for $1,622 in 2004. It's not as fresh and unfaded as yours, the autograph especially, but it was signed to another famous baseball player, Tony Lazzeri.

Yours has tremendous eye-appeal even though it has some peripheral creases, and the autograph is virtually unfaded.
