Hello!

I have a question.

I have A Michael Jackson Autograph, that I want to preserve. However, I have no idea what to get. Size of the autograph is 2.5x4.5".

Could anybody give me some tips maybe on what to get? Is there some kind of ''acid free'' Hard plastic sleeve that I could buy? If so, where and whats it called in general?

I'm planning to frame it and Hang it on the wall, out of sunlight.

Thank you,

Nigel

Since it is a cut sig you probably want to frame w/ an 8x10 or something. Pro framing is a good idea.  Dry mount the sig in a cutout w/ acid free  and lignin free mat board.  Dry mount means they don't glue the original sig in any way. I like double mat board. It looks more substantial in the finished product.  I also like conservation glass.  It costs a bit more but it looks good and it helps w reducing degradation.  Non-glare glass does not help in this case.  Sleeves are ok for storage but not useful in a frame.  By all means keep it where the sun don't shine.

I am no sig expert but I am familiar with the sun's damaging effects.
