Hi Guys i just won this auction for an Invincible Michael Jackson Cd Booklet Cover signed by the King Of Pop.
I wanted to know if this is a real or a fake. I highly suspect it is real since it was won at Iconic auctions and sold elsewhere.
Would like to know what your opinions are. Mr Roger Epperson seems to have approved it via email.

You're the man Steve ! The autograph he placed on the CD he's holding looks very similar to the one on mine except the one he placed on mine is larger. The M and the J hit his eyes on the cover.
I Just took a call to iconic auctions and asked them about the Letter Of authenticity for this item. They usually place numbered stickers on all their items or on the letters of authenticity so I will most likely hear from them by Monday Morning. :)
I have spent some time looking at fan photos of their signed MJ booklets from the event. I have reason to suspect this might not be from the event ? I noticed his signature looks very thin on most of the album covers and the one that is sold to me looks thicker and longer.
I'm attaching a photo that one fan posted to her twitter page from the signing. I think this can serve as a template for what autographs from that day usually look like for people visiting this page and reading this post. That's not to say that my item is fake. It might have been acquired elsewhere since a similar item was is shown here on this instagram page that showcases so many fake and authentic MJ Items :https://www.instagram.com/michaeljacksonauctions/ . Definitely worth studying since they source their photos from items deemed fake by Knaiz auctions and other websites that deal with MJ memorabilia.

Don't drive yourself crazy hehe, your Autograph will be good.
You have to know one thing, not every MJ autograph looks the same, some look so bad that you would never think it was real, even though it was signed by MJ.
Haha I'll try ( sobs *). You're right though, I've seen some really sloppy signatures on this forum that i never thought MJ was capable of doing and they turned out to be good :)
Now I am completely confident that the one you've been asking about is real, as long as it's live ink. Printing a signature on the cover would be hard but nothing surprises me these days.
Hello Dany
for me it looks like MJ handwriting, I would say it's real for me.
You bought it from Ebay Germany right?
The guy offered many MJ autographs in the past where I was a little suspicious.
But nevertheless the Autograph was in the Auction and Roger found it to be authentic / fine.
I would definitely send it to JSA and then you will be sure if it is real or not.
I say that is my opinion, the autograph will pass the authentication.
Thanks Ivo. Thats what I plan to do after i get it.
Update : We have our first doubter. A user called Yannick doesn't believe it to be real. Got a response on his profile.
one of the things in it's favour is the lack of ink in the sig,if MJ was using the same sharpie over and over then the 30th or 40th wouldn't look as fresh as the first few, but personally i wouldn't buy it unless i was 98-100 percent sure which im not about it. Its always harder to tell with a sharpie pen as they tend to hide certain characteristics , also take in to account that the invincible album is one of the most forged because of this signing at virgin in New York.
You are right, it doesn't look like a fresh sharpie signature. I'm still waiting on some feedback from another user. But most of the people on this forum except for one all think it is real.
