Hi Guys i just won this auction for an Invincible Michael Jackson Cd Booklet Cover signed by the King Of Pop.
I wanted to know if this is a real or a fake. I highly suspect it is real since it was won at Iconic auctions and sold elsewhere.
Would like to know what your opinions are. Mr Roger Epperson seems to have approved it via email.

So what do you think Steve ? Is it a safe buy ?
Hold out for more input. If you get several negative opinions from members who know MJ, and Roger and I are the only ones that like it, there's your answer: Roger and I are that much better than the rest! ;)
OK, seriously: I spent a lot of time on this, and I'd be surprised if Michael didn't sign it, but you need to feel confident in it. I'd wait until you get a few more opinions and then decide.
Well put Steve. Maybe i should hold out for more opinons (If anyone else will comment lol) But as you've mentioned it probably doesn't get any better than having You and Roger give your approval. You are a senior member with a lot of experience after all :)
We have some member super-good on MJ here. The best, without a doubt, is Wascher, who's also a semi-retired moderator. She's probably the best on MJ autographs in the world. Roger highly respects her.
Post a comment on her profile with a link to the discussion and maybe she'll comment. If she has a concern, don't buy it:
Hi Dany, I have seen too many fakes from the Invincible Virgin Store day... My personal decision was at the end to not buy any that was supposed to be signed during that event. And my reasons are below:
- Michael wasn't in his best moment and the signatures from that day that I have seen (including the ones on tape and the pic you have as profile) look so shaky, simple and far from his previous detailed signature that comes into our minds.
- The record is really cheap to buy in stores since long time ago so forgers found a cheap product to sign telling all the story of the Virgin store day (I have even seen people buying/selling just the pass that was giving access to the event and the seller saying "you can use it to be more convincing with your product"). I did receive some screenshots of conversations from people on ebay about this topic long ago. Also another sellers include random promotional merch from Invincible era as if they were giving you a gift pack on arrival...
With this I am not saying yours is not genuine! I am just trying to help giving my personal opinion cos I have been in your same position with same thoughts.

Thank you so much Fabioaseks. I think you understand my frustration !
It truly is a hard call because even the signature he used that day was a little different.
I know there have been a lot of MJ forgeries and this item is no exception, because anyone can say it was signed at the virgin megastore event. The only reason i somewhat believe it to be authentic is because It was sold at iconic auctions which only sells legitimate items. However it didn't meet it's reserve and ended up on ebay somehow. There is no receipt from iconic auctions for this, just an email from Roger confirming that its okay. So i've been pacing back and fourth wondering if I should let it go or if I'm missing out on the real deal.
Steve and Roger gave me some confidence about its authenticity but when i read comments like yours, it's scary !
Thank you Steve and Fabioasek for your valuable input and time ! :)
Can't tell you how many times I have zoomed in this image trying to find patterns with another signatures of that day for sale :)
You and me both ! This invincible CD Booklet has been driving me nuts haha
