I have about 7 signed Jim Brown photos. If this is a 16x20, I would go about $125, if it is an 8x10, I would be a buyer in the $75 range. If I didn’t have anything from him, I would go a little higher or if it was a picture I absolutely loved. Also, on the particular photo, the silver ink is a little thin, especially on the J.
I noticed the silver ink being thin and I made my offer based on the image being a photo file because Jim Brown licensed photo file photos of Brown that are signed is hard to find. Would be nice to have a Arthur Rickerby original image of Brown signed.
I agree. Photo File has become very limited in their choices. Seeing something new/different from them is exciting. There are some great b/w photos out there that I would love to have.
This doesn't look good to me but I figured I'd see what you think. Is it known that GTSM sells forgeries or someone counterfeiting GTSM labels?
One of my college professors played at Syracuse with Jim Brown. He was a tackle and said after a game he would take his jersey off and there would be clear marks on his back from Brown.
I met Ed Bettridge a couple months ago at a show in Columbus( he played linebacker on the 1964 Championship team), and he was telling stories similar to that of what it was like to line up against Brown in practice.
