I think they look good to me. The Lennon is a bit sloppy, but still think it's real.
That is a pretty astounding card for an upper deck series!! I can't say if it's authentic or not, Beatles are not my area, but it's unbelievable that this would be offered as a signature card. Has to be the most hard core signature card ever offered in a series! Can you imagine just opening a pack of cards and you get this?!?! If they had either one of those signatures on there it would be a big deal, but having both John and George is absolutely wild for this type of thing!
I do agree with Steve that it's far from the perfect way to get Beatles autographs, and I don't like cut signatures at all, but for selling purposes it's ideal because it's almost like having instant provenance with the way it's offered through the pro channel that it is. Doesn't prove it's real, but on the market place it's value will be assured I would think. I do think signed cards like this are a really cool idea and I always love seeing the different ones that are out there. This one takes the cake though.
Haven't there been upper 5-figure baseball signature cards?
Authenticity used to be a problem with some signature cards a few years ago...maybe even less. I believe Upper Deck had an issue with a suppler, which caused them to turn to PSA/DNA for authentication.
Congrats! Mind saying what you paid for it?
I cant remember...for sure between 1 and 3K. I noticed most ppl agree the George looks real, but most have negative responses about Johns. Come to think of it, John didnt always sign the same. I purchased it cause Upper Deck is pretty reilable...at least most all the time. I just took my chances. I LOVE them!
