this was purchased from a card shop a few years back and i was never quite sure if it was real or not.

One of the reasons I didn’t respond is because I had the same feeling. I usually don’t see the part after the M being a straight line without a bump in it and not ending like that. However, the Jordan ending looks pretty good to me so I’m confused as well.

Being on a very cheap card typically is a red flag, but this shows signs possibly being a legit IP graph.

Agreed. But even though it’s an inexpensive card, that’s a great picture. If I had a chance to get MJ to autograph a basketball card in particular, that’s a pretty good one.

I think this is authentic. It has a natural flow unlike most you see on cheap cards.

Less than 1% chance that is real IMO, I wouldn't buy it.  I personally don't see any aspects of that which are consistent with his real signature.
