I purchased my Nikki Minaj and Justin Bieber signed CDs from eBay, so I am thinking about cancelling my order, getting a refund, and then purchasing them when / IF they ever arrive.  I can't believe that the music studios are frauding consumers like this especially when TMZ is covering all of these celebs out and about partying and having fun. Using COVID as an excuse is total nonsense.

I thought about that also but they charge you for the download so they don't care, It's now 7 months now for the Beiber yummy cds, they have our money what are you going to do

Report them to the state's attorney general's office for consumer fraud and false advertising.

Here's the deal folks, regardless of where you purchased these from, you ordered them in May and it is now October and you still have NOT received your item. To me, this is consumer fraud. Katy Perry just had a baby, but she managed to sign her "Smile" cds. In addition, Machine Gun Kelly signed his CDs as well.  I hate to say this, but people who bought this have been scammed in the name of charity. Justin Bieber announced on Twitter that all proceeds from this sell would be going to charity. The fans followed through on their part, but why didn't he and Ariana follow through on there's ?  Last, now if you request a refund, you'll look like a jerk because they will probably put you on a guilt trip by saying, " Don't you want to help out those in need ? "

They also take the digital copy cost out of any refund... At least thats what they've done in the past. They make you wait longer than you can file a credit card claim as well so if they send autopen or fake trash you can't do anything about it. I got screwed on quite a few of these preorders, then I'm nervous to buy the ones that are legit.

Couldn’t agree with you more

some of us are still waiting for the beiber yummy signed cds it's about 8 months now

Sooo...I'm not a lawyer, but clearly you all are victims of fraud and IF this happened to me, I would file a complaint with the state of California's Attorney General's Office. It is also false advertising as well.  You should be able to recover all of your money then since you purchased the music with the intent that you were going to receive an autographed copy of the music.  This is the route that I would take and I would encourage fans to hold people like Bieber accountable for his actions.

If it was significantly more money, I might be inclined to agree. But for 5 bucks, I'll sit tight and wait to see how it plays out.

Feels safe to say that most autographed pre-orders have been delayed this year. I don't think a whole lot of people who ordered these thought the odds were in their favor to ship in a timely manner, and plenty of people probably thought that - at 5 dollars - this was likely a low risk, high reward gamble. Bieber is one of the premiere douchebags in the business and UMG has elevated treating fans like crap into an art form. The writing on the wall was definitely there.

I don't really see why they can use covid as an excuse for the autograph preorders taking so long. If they can put out the non signed cds on time... then the autograph version should take less time than precovid... Since most celebs aren't touring and somewhat stuck in their mansions if they follow any of the suggestions or rules. I think its just an excuse since the celebs dont want to be bothered to sign... The only issue with covid would be factories moving slower because of less employees but if the cd comes out on time not signed covid shouldn't affect the signed ones.

That being said, I don't care about the wait on any preorder if it's real, I don't NEED any autograph or need it fast. I guess it sucks for resellers since they can't get their money back for a long time. But if I get a $5 autograph from a big name star I'm happy even if it takes a year... But my only complaint with it is they make you wait longer than you can file a credit card claim. Then they send fake autopen trash or something like Lady Gaga's checkmark autograph and you can't do anything about it. Then you ask to return it and have to pay return shipping and they take out the digital album cost... So then they know its not worth you returning it and you're screwed so they can get away with it. Plus most fans aren't autograph collectors and wont ever know they got a fake item.

And for $5 its worth the risk, but then when you add in shipping or you buy 2 or maybe the usual limit of 4... Then do that from a dozen preorders then it ends up being a good chunk of change lost if they send fake stuff... And then no recourse on getting money back. Or you go through a bunch of trouble to get 40% of it back. Then you question the next one and it turns out to be real but you passed on it since so many are trash.

I am sorry to hear that, but it is also a crying shame that he ( Bieber ) brags about how well his music is selling when his fans bought "signed" copies of his CDs. That's the only reason why those CDs sold so well.  At the same time, any celebrity wouldn't be who or what they are without their fans and regardless of how much money someone paid, the celebrity should still follow through on his/her behalf.  Katie Perry, Michael Buble, Billy Ocean, and many others have signed their CDs for their fans during this pandemic. In the end, it is still false advertising and consumer fraud. Last, you would think that Bieber and Grande would make an announcement on social media apologizing for the delay.

Hi there ! I understand where you are coming from and sadly, the huge corporations and their money always win in lawsuits ; however, I browsed Twitter yesterday and many fans are posting and asking him ( Bieber ) where their signed CDs are. Apparently, Bieber released his new album " Holy " and fans received that within days of ordering it.  In the very least, fans can be vocal about his dishonesty on social media and stop buying his music and going to his concerts.  Bieber is on his way out anyway. And, yes, no one should be above the law and this is clear and cut case of false and deceptive advertising.
