Hi,

This is my first discussion. I've seen on sale the famous signed item by Freddie Mercury dedicated "To Laura" through the Heritage Auctions web. It comes from Tracks Ltd., with a LOA from them and a COA by Heritage Auctions.

The sheet seems old (with some marks made by time) and both, letter & signature are correct. Everything on it looks really good, and the seller accept offers. However this item has been faked so many times and even the paper sheet's age could be faked.

So what do you think, fellows...?

As we discussed, this item has been reprinted so many times by a Spanish forger (who was banned from this site a while back for pushing this item), the only way to know for sure if it's the original or not would be to hold it in hand. Personally, I wouldn't want it as even if original, it's been reprinted so many times, it hurts the value. Tracks is great but they also gave a coa for a fake Fred at RR right now, so its important to remember no company is perfect. This could be the original, or it could be one of the aged reprints. At this point, nobody knows how many Fran made.

Agreed, Innuendo. And especially, so many reprints devalue the original, that's true. What a pity!
