Ive gotten John many times.  This doesnt look good to me.  Whats the circumstance here?

Not sure of the history of the piece. I'm looking for a Travolta signature to mat and ran into this one.

Joe W., I have no exemplars with your listed salutations. These are my oldest exemplars and I have no opinion on authenticity. I only have 1 Travolta and I THINK he drew an airplane on top of his name. The blue card is said to be from 1978. Other 2 unknown dates. Hope this helps.

Thanks, David. Your early examples clearly display is signature evolution. The one I am asking about must be somewhere in between. Although, keying off the ending of his last name I see the same characteristics as your vintage signatures.

Joe W.,  His career took off with "Carrie" in 1976, so yeah, yours must have been the next evolution of his autograph.   those 3 were the only examplars I had with a visible bow tie at the end of Travolta. If I were a betting man your Travolta is "talking to me". All the best.

Anyone else? I believe this signed note is very likely authentic. I'm hoping for a few more experienced eyes to chime in.
