What are you planning on doing with yours are you going to contact customer service? I just received mines this is so sad man I was excited to get this vinyl just to find out that it's a freaking knock-off stamp.

I don't know. Aside with some anticipated pushback/issues on return, the fact is these are still a limited edition of 500. So I'm wondering if it'd be less a headache to deal with customer service on a return or just dump the thing on Ebay - with a disclaimer on the stamp not being an authentic autograph (not that it isn't obvious).

I almost feel like the bigger question is what will become of the "You Broke Me" clear vinyl and "One Day" vinyl releases. Instinct would be to cancel, but I'm not entirely sure that those will meet the same fate. I'm still not sure what to make of this honestly, since Tate was great in person last year, plus the UK only signed CDs last year looked fine. If those other two pending releases are bad, however, it'd be a lot tougher to let her off the hook.

I called her and her label out on Instagram. I'm hoping that they read it just so that they know that trying to deceive fans like that is not cool! I'm thinking about just keeping it as well just because like you said it is limited edition and there is little hope in me that I might meet her in person one day and maybe I can get her to REALLY sign it.

I too am having second thoughts about the one day vinyl as well since I pre-ordered that one too... I hate when artists and labels do this to their fans!

Before the tour was cancelled last year, she was offering preshow meet and greets at a very moderate price if I recall correctly. She only did a few actual shows otherwise (I think I saw her second one ever) and she struck me as super accessible before and after the show.

Damn dude that awesome! I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that I meet her in the city one day! At the end of the day it was only $17 I spent. So I'm not going to make a big deal off of it. I actually really love the song. So it is what it is. I don't like it, but I'll deal with it.

I have a bunch of videos of her chilling with fans before and after the show. She seemed fine with signing absolutely whatever (I usually don't ask for more than a couple things, though I'm sure I could have if I wanted to).

What irks me here is that a stamp is so strangely dated and low class, like some cranky old man with a silly ego took the reigns on this effort. It's kind of just insulting, more so than your average pre-order/merch disappointment. Plus, Tate's pre-orders were just not ones I even vaguely suspected any issues on. It caught me off guard for sure. Again, she sold signed CDs for a few bucks last year, and those were all just fine.

SO GLAD you got to meet her before the virus hit the world of concerts/society! Jealous that you got to experience Tate and "You Broke Me First" live!
In your honest opinion, do you think that the vinyl singles are fake?!

The ones so far, yes. 100% rubber stamps. Instinct is to cancel the other two preorders, but I'm not sure this isn't a one-off snafu (though my expectations aren't high). Remember, Halsey's first items shipped were those UK autopen CDs, and that was a product of some idiot on her management team or the label making that call. Halsey then proceeded to signed 40,000+ items in 2020.

These are just a few of the videos I took with her and her fans last year.

Tate w/ fans 1

Tate w/ fans 2

Tate w fans 3

Who is this....

Lazy AF

My copy arrived today and the heart is barely legible on it :-( My autograph is on the left so maybe they are legit but I do sense your frustration with the signed copies looking the same!

I mean who do you know can keep the same penmanship for 500 times?
