does anyone else want to comment on these MJ signatures being offered in Autograph World's current auction? Has anyone purchased other Jacko signatures from them that look like this? Thanks...D

Darren, I couldn't agree more. I don't think you got off-subject. Look at this one from Roger's site. It feels like MJ and has a lot of his characteristics, but it's so clunky. Mike Wherman got it in the late 80s:

clunky is a good word for it, but a very good example. notice in the 80's and 90's his M was a five tier letter, starting with a downstroke - it often times had that extra bump to start with. He almost completely dropped that and usually always started with the upstroke the last several years of his life - unless he was really taking his time with it, giving it the sig the royal treatment.
Jackson definitely signed in some wild styles at times...but the forgers style are really bad and would never get what looks something like a "pulse" style of authentic autos I have seen...once he passed that's only when I started to really look at his auto BECAUSE OF THE HIGH NUMBER OF FAKES...and there god awful...just like Mantle...the forgers will never ever perfect Jackson's Hancock...
for what it's worth, here is the MJ from my collection.

autograph world paul mccartney autographs

The first and second ones look fine to me. The third is way atypical, obviously...but I have a feeling he signed it. What do you think, Darren?
Not in this lifetime I'm afraid :-(
I'll defer to you--you've got much more experience than I have. You think the first two are OK, right?
my statement is that I would not buy the lot of three for 10 pence if they were offered to me tomorrow.

It that doesn't say why specialists are important, nothing does. I've seen a lot of McCartney, but unless you study someone, for a long time and have the right exemplars, you can make some pretty big mistakes.

Let's get Roger's opinion on these.

agreed, all are crap
