Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

 UK seller chbow_52 back on ebay with another fake MJ drawing.  I gather this is meant to be 'Elvis'.

Currently bid at £54.

 On Liveauctioneers with Rich Penn Auctions for sale on 150521, this fake-MJ signed drawing of MJ with pets. Lot 1373. Est. p to $10k.  This fake signature style is well known in the UK and many dozens to hundreds of this style of signature have appeared on other drawings, cushions, hats, handkerchiefs and miscellaneous other items.  Proof of forgery for this style of fake is the 'MJ and Micky Mouse Going Home' drawing which copied original art created after MJ's memorial service.  Plenty of examples of this style of fake in this thread eg on pages 66, 67, 76, 81, 83 and many more.  Proof -of -forgery described on p71.

 If this 'Mickey on his toes' drawing looks familiar, it is because it appears to be a copy of a drawing by another forger which was sold by a different auction house in Feb 14.

Michael Jackson Inscribed & Signed Pillow Case

Michael Jackson Inscribed & Signed Pillow Case, unlabeled cotton blend boldly inscribed w/black marker pen "I love you all very much please love me always. Love Michael Jackson". Lot is accompanied by a letter of provenance from a collector stating the pillow case was acquired from a London Hotel house maid who had been given the case by Jackson. Exc cond w/light discoloring, 16"H x 23"W.

Thnx Lizzie, that you keep track on these forgers and that you keep informing us. It's really appreciated. I stopped following liveauctioneers.com a while a go since they allow auctioneers offer loads of crap and they shouldn't be trusted. It's a shame the authorities don't do anything about this.

Wow, that would be painful. This world... After the Michael album sadly nothing amazes me anymore. Michael Jackson's world really was a snakepit. So sad.
