Send them a letter with a self addressed stamped envlope and photo inside, and then its a waiting game.
Good luck I used to send out tons of letters in the 90s and had good sucess rate

That really isn't what is meant by TTM autographs. Also I've never heard of that company and what they do and how (and where) they operate is decidedly vague. That website doesn't really clarify much of anything.

You can get addresses in the back of the Autograph magazine or you can pull them offline at Fanmail.biz. Then write them a letter and I would send something to sign because it gets very expensive for them to supply stuff especially photos. So if you want a photo signed send one if you just want an index card you can send a smaller package. Just make sure you send an envelope with enough return postage for whatever size package you want sent back. I usually send pictures so I send a 10 x 10 with a 9 x 12 SASE inside to return the pictures in. When you write them a letter I wouldn't get too long because they get tons of letters and most of the time someone else will pull everything out and clip them together and throw them in a stack so they can eventually start going through them and signing everything.
If you go over seas then it get a little more complicated you need to send IRC coupons (International Return Coupons) for the return shipping costs. Now my local post office has stopped ordering them and I have asked them to special order some and they still won't so I have started sending some cash in an envelope hoping it's not too much trouble.
I have sent out about 175 envelopes with pictures and I guess since October 2009 I have had about 35-40 returns with signatures. Now you may not always get a signature from the actual actor or actress it may be a secretarial or even a pre-print or a stamped so be careful and ask opinions when you get them in to see if it's real.
Some actors/actresses ask for a donation and an example would be Jane Seymour she askes for a $10.00 donation per item to be signed and Julie Newmar askes for $20.00 per signature but you do get actual signatures from these two great ladies. I will usually send a donation to a person if they have a certain charity they work with and that is cool with me but I do it out of courtesy. Like when I asked Jerry Lewis I did send the MDA a nice donation.

Have fun with it. Just remember never send anything that you are worried about losing. Just write nice letter requesting the autograph. If you see a picture in a magazine that you would like to be autographed send that to the person. Some people do send photos back while others will send back what you send them. It becomes very exciting to see an envelope in your own handwriting come back in the mail.

I would think it would get kind of expensive to send 8x10's to lots of people. Plus the postage to send to them, then for them to send to you.

Well you do what you can afford. But I actually work with a charity group and I thought it would be fun to get autographs for an auction. But of course I have to weed out all of the secretarials, preprints, stamped and auto pens. Yes it does get expensive so you do what you can afford you don't have to send as many as I do or as much as I do. You can just ask for something but a lot of times they mail your envelope back asking for money because the same goes for the people you are asking it gets expensive.
You know I see a lot of autographs by people that are graded by places such as PSA/DNA and yes they are a very legit business unlike some out there. But most of the autographs I see are done usually as the person is walking along and done very quickly and I was wondering what does their signature look like if they actually were signing a legal document and just sitting down and taking there time. I mean some of the ones I see are not much more than a scribbles.
Okay here is a question for everyone out there. If I am sending them legit charity information and asking for a donation to help raise money why in the world would anyone mail me something that isn't signed by the actual person. Do they not understand I could get in some serious trouble if I try and aution something that isn't real. By the way I even started sending them a little sticky note and saying if this isn't actually signed by the person please don't bother donating because I can get in trouble. So some have actually sent the post it note back stuck to their donation and I guess they are trying to tell me this is legit.

Has anyone had any luck with Bruce Springsteen? Looks like he does some signings at shows (at least per AACS), but I have heard that he never signs mailed items. Don't know if that's true or not but just checking if anyone's given it a shot. Thanks!

I have been doing it for 20 years and I have around 2,000 autographs. I dont even send self addressed stamped envlopes with my letters. Always be nice and dont sound fake. Be honest and that helps. I hand write my letters too and that helps. John Madden wrote me a letter that was two pages long. He told me he was shocked to get a hand written letter. I write to alot of different types of people too. Let me give you a few examples: I just received a autograph poster from Duke University Womens Basketball team in the mail. All you need to do to find college sports addresses is goto the college web site and find the Athletic Dept. address and write in C/o Womens Basketball Team or what team you are writing too. It works real good. The cool thing is you receive more then one autograph this way. My Duke poster had 14 autographs on it. Also if you want to you can write to military units by using the FPO addresses. I just recieved a autograph photo of the USS Toledo submarine autographed by the Capt. of the sub.
