Just looked on ebay and found this pic on a listing and I think it looks the same as yours, so I suspect he used multiple autopens.

Bummer! I was really trying to find an excuse for Robby but unfortunately there is no excusing this act of betrayal. He personally signed the The Ritual Begins at Sundown cards so I don’t understand this. Sending it back to B&N.

It’s also on Newbury and they don’t do auto pens!

I think a lot of the books came without the “signed” or “autographed” sticker on the cover leading people to be skeptical but these aren’t autopened. The autograph is a very thin marker that can also be mistaken for autopen. And I love Robby Krieger to death but it isn’t like he doesn’t have the time to sign these. The book was written because he said he had a lot of time on his hands due to the pandemic.

My two are identical, even down to a stray pen stroke between the "K" and a little dot on the end of the "R" in his first name.

Hello,

I just received mine yesterday from B&N and it looks identical to yours.  I am really bummed.  How is it that B&N get autopens but real signatures are on other sites?

Received my Krieger today from B&N and it is identical to yours.  Looked at the sig very closely through a loupe and it does not exhibit the signs of an AutoPen or stamp but looks as though the tip-in pages might have been run through a copier?

I just received an e-mail from Newburys and they told me that there books are coming right from the artist so maybe alright so I ordered one from them and if there no good at least Newburys will take them back

I received my order from B&N.  Books were well packaged in an appropriately sized box.  They appear to be signed in pen vs marker.

Fingers crossed for Waterstones!

I complained to Barnes & Noble the very day I got that disgraceful autopen version and today I received an authentic signature. I can tell he signed with a ballpoint pen on this one.
