Hi Everyone, First timer.

Been lurking trying to learn how to read signatures based on the exemplars and handstokes. I thought this was a good Dimaggio baseball but it lacks any COA or LOA. Opinions please?

Looks good to me.

I believe this is a B&J collectibles forgery.  the GG's are concerning to me

Is there normally a pen lift between "g's"?

I just noticed that, this is most likely a forgery.

Much appreciated, I passed on that ball and now looking at these. All three are JSA with COA.  The D on #1 looks off,  #2 looks the smoothest but the J looks best on #3.

Any suggestions?

#1
#2
#3

I would not consider any of these three "classic" Joe D signatures. I would not want to own any of these.

I completely agree, none of these resemble his classic signature.

Is the awkward GG why these are not Classic JoeD sigs?  I initially looked at the o-e and D in the last name but these are rather inconsistent.

I'm now focused on the lower loops of the G's.  #3 is what matches the PSA exemplar example but all were issued JSA COAs:

For me, each of the three have an issue that takes away from the typical clean Dimaggio signature.  On the first one, the bottom of the D has the sharp point, the other two have a weird looking second g.  Dimaggio has a nice clean, smooth flow to his signature.  Doesn’t make them bad, just not something I would want representing my Dimaggio.
