Thank you everyone for your replies and thanks Don for that info. It is being sold on ebay and the seller has a whole story (with this old letter) along with the signature. It was actually the story behind it that made me curious enough to post the autograph on here. It's sad what some people will do to make money.

Not to beat a dead horse but I'm trying to learn the minor details that distinguish the real Elvis signatures from the fake ones. If I'm not mistaken, I've noticed that in some of the real autographs, Elvis Presley's penmanship is like that of a little kid or an old person with a shaky hand. So, is this one real.......

Yes, this is real but it is a printed signature from around 1955. You will not find many autographs with Elvis and Presley separated. Mostly he signed his name in one.
