I'm a big fan. He signed two albums for me in person. When I ordered one of his signed CDs, I was pleasantly surprised that they included some of his guitar picks.

I saw him once - great show.

I bought a signed CD at the merchandise table there.

Hi JK,

Awesome! I am looking forward to seeing him next month. Never saw him live; Always loved his music. I am glad to know he puts on a great show. My wife and I have reserved seats right near the stage. Also, I will for sure buy some autographed stuff if available at the mech booth.

He was on a double bill with Marc Cohn, who is the one I really was there to see (he also does a great show).

I knew a little about Robert Cray but had no idea what to expect.  He was great.  My friend knew nothing about him but she loved him.  And the signed CDs at the merchandise stand were a bonus.
