Signed AHDN program with flight bag sells for close on £50,000 (incl. fees)

This lot just sold for £36,000 plus 30%+ commission. Although the provenance is fantastic neither the program nor bag are in great condition. I ask myself, is the lot really worth getting on for £50,000?

Wow!! That is huge money for these items. Will it set a president or was it a must have by a one off bidder.

Heritage sold a near perfect one for like $94k last year. This one is nice and I wish I had it.

No, I now see you were talking about the program. I found the item that went for $75,000 before premiums. The Heritage price also seems incredible to me but the documentation that came with the program seems far more "important" and "rare" than the rather beaten-up flight bag that sold with yesterday's program. The program itself also seems to have been in better condition and the autographs were undedicated - not that that matters much in cases like this.
