John Lennon found in house clearance?

This was found in an old autograph book.

From a house clearance just north of Liverpool.

My take is the signature style would imply early/mid 60s and the drawing would imply late 60s. And I don't particularly like either

That’s how it appears to me too - a 1964 signature and 1968(?) style sketch. Is it even live ink?

Yes, it’s in live ink on very old paper, the book had sketches and quotes dating back to the thirties.

This is a signed In His Own Write book page 1964. Some similarities to your posting. At that time John was a prolific drawer hence the artwork in the book.

I cannot confirm that but you can now research that era for similar items. I would also go for a quick opnion from Roger Epperson at Real.
