Unknown autograph

I found this autograph in an old scrapbook (dated 2/4/1946) together with other actors like Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier.

Does anyone of you know whose signature it is?

Might actually be Elizabeth Taylor?

Was also my first thought. But she was born in 1932 and only 14 in 1946. The signature doesn´t look like written by a teenager.

I’d agree, but she was a child actress and it does kind of look in line with some of her signature styles. Might also be possible that Taylor was obtained at a later date?

This is a printed signature from 1946.

I would guess the first two letters "Ci" or "Gi".

The actress is CICELY COURTNEIDGE wife of Jack Hulbert, plenty of examples on Google.
