Authenticity is Everything
MARLON BRANDO SIGNATURE, GOOD?
Hello!
I'm currently looking at an item on eBay that features a cut signature of Marlon Brando. It's slabbed and authenticated by PSA. It's fairly light but I uploaded a picture from the listing. Any help/insight into whether this looks authentic would be very appreciated!

Yeah, it's certainly not the sharpest/boldest signature out there. But compared to other Brando autographs with reputable 3rd party authentication, the price point is a bit more in my range, haha. Any thoughts on the authenticity?

I would recommend waiting for a better example. This has very little going for it in terms of eye appeal and quality. The scan looks a bit odd and the item may be in a bit more rough condition.

It's good. Can't quite tell what's going on with it though....if that's ink or pencil. We're looking at it in the listing with provided images that are both low-def in quality and the piece being under PSA plastic encapsulation.
This is a bit of a risky one since the seller does not accept returns. Not from the authenticity standpoint so much as from how it really looks in person.

After looking at the paper I could not recommend it. The toning, fading, creasing/wrinkling and the light signature are not a good combination, and the price will rise. This item was $795 less than a year ago at RR Auctions. A low price fades, but poor quality lasts forever.
