Not familiar with his signature, anyone own an autograph of his like to give there advice?

If that is his current signature I think I'd look for an older example, say 1990's. Here is mine - 1968:

If rushed atypical I'd still avoid. I saw a video of him signing these things and it doesn't appear he is taking any time at all:

It was a signed copy of the awful "rocket man" cover he did, so bad it was almost worth buying. Seller said he got it from Shatners website so makes sense that he rushed signatures

I'd not collect autographs that need explanation or speculation. YMMV.
