Hi everyone, I would really appreciate some expert opinions on this Beatles promo card. I have owned it for many years and always assumed that the signatures were printed but some collectors have suggested that they may be real? Any advice would be appreciated 😊

I’ve seen this set before. May we see the front of the card?

Thanks. Here’s the image that I have:

Thank you for sharing yours. So assume that these are preprints?

I’m not entirely sure. Yours has some condition issues that aren’t present on the one I posted, but you can faintly see the same crease or stain under “records.”

The front of the promo card  in the OP has a cup ring stain that runs through John’s neck plus a few other noticeable stains.  None of these marks are on the card posted by Ballroom.  Does this mean the card posted by Ballroom is the same card as the OP but the imperfections have been restored or are they different cards?

IMO. If there are 2 cards the signatures are too exact to be individual hand signed cards and I would say the signatures are printed.

They’re different cards.

These signatures were also printed onto a very beat up scrap of paper.

Very interesting.  So were these printed by the Fan Club for official fan give aways?  And the printing on that crumpled paper must be more recent than the fan club cards?

They weren’t printed by the Fan Club. I was thinking that Octopus’ card might be the original. There’s a small spot to the left of Paul’s ‘T’ that’s reproduced on the other two, and you can see similar spots elsewhere on that card.

Aah I see what you mean.  I’m quite surprised how well the signatures are reproduced on the other two items.
