Has anyone gone on a cruise where a bunch of music artists/bands are playing during the cruise?  If so, are you able to get autographs during the cruise?  Been thinking about taking one.

My friends who worked on the liners would have 2 cabins - one private so they could avoid people. I recall they were not fond of interaction outside what they were paid for.  I doubt unknown working musicians would care.

I think what Eric is talking about with the hired help would probably be a different situation than what Steve is asking about here. Working on a cruise is hard work and long hours, it makes sense that workers would want to avoid potential work requests on that little bit of time when they're off the clock.

Seems to me like signing autographs and some fan interaction would come with the territory on these cruises and most of the musicians would probably be amenable to signing within reason.

I was talking about professionals hired to entertain on the QM2 and Victoria. I see we are talking about cruise ships.

If you take one Steve, let us know!
