Well since this particular forum (The Doors & Jim) has been quiet for a while, as I have been , I thought I put this up. It truly is amazing what turns up, and how.
Mark and Jack, apologies that I have been off grid, I will email you separately.

This is a gem

No problem, Stephen. It’s a gem for sure, and already up to $24K with the buyer’s premium. I’ll add a couple of images to the OP.

Good to hear from you Mark.  Again my apologies for the lack of communication. I will email separately.
It truly is amazing what turns up. Who would have thought!
Likely the last signed LP prior to his (Jim’s) passing? Given that there are only four known Jim signed LPs thus far. I can only assume that the original owner was able to make it back stage at the Isle of White festival, to get this signed, I did read that Jim spent a lot of his time back stage at the festival in a melancholic and detached mood.

Interesting auction to watch!

Hi Steven! I agree, this really is a gem and a true rarity. It is actually only the 6th known authentic signed LP that contains a JDM signature to have surfaced so far that I've personally seen. I wouldn't be surprised if this sells for $35k+ incl. BP.  Here are the other 5.

Hello Jack. Great to hear from. Again, apologies that I have not emailed. I suppose I needed some time to recover from the disappointment of Scotland at the Euros!😩

Thanks so much for compiling the above confirmed albums signed by Jim. We in the collecting community can always rely upon either you or Ballroom to educate us with real nuggets of information. And thanks too for correcting my earlier statement of there being 4 known Jim signed LPs. So there you have it folks, there are 6!
I do recall the ‘To Nancy’ inscribed inside of the WFTS album cover. It actually sold on eBay for a reasonable price to the seller. It then was sold through RR if I recall, for just shy of 20K. Amazing price given that Jim had only signed ‘Jim’. But then again, it is a complete set of all four band member signatures.

I think you are correct about the final hammer price. The album is brilliantly signed with very little issues in terms of condition, and Jim’s is a nice bold well sized signature.
Thanks again for your comment and pictures. I will endeavour to email you soon!

Apologies, I mistakenly stated seller instead of buyer and is corrected to read:-
“I do recall the ‘To Nancy’ inscribed inside of the WFTS album cover. It actually sold on eBay for a reasonable price to the buyer”
