Louder is selling a signed sleeve splatter edition. The options with the magazine seems to be sold out.

Starting to get negative reviews on amazon UK for lazy signatures and looking nothing like the stock photo...

The Darkness have been beaten into 2nd place on the UK mid-week charts by Mumford and Sons who have even worse signatures....

just to add some more drama to this story, I’ve just received this update from Resident Records :(

Hello,

Unfortunately, The Darkness have cancelled all future signing events, which means the band will no longer be stopping here at Resident to sign your copy of their new album.

We’re currently trying to find out if we can organise signed prints / alternative, to fulfil your order and will let you know as soon as we hear more.

Hopefully, you’re happy to hang on tight to your preorder until then. If we cannot source signed prints in the next few days, we will let you know and you will be eligible for a full refund. If you have any other questions in the meantime, please respond to this email.

Thanks,
The Residents x

If they don't think they can sign enough stuff to secure a number 1 spot they will not bother.....

Think there is more to it than that (although you could be right). They also postponed two of their shows last week.

Signed copies available from banquet... not sure if the personally signed ones have been cancelled?

The Darkness - Dreams On Toast | Banquet Records

I've been told my personally signed copy has shipped.

I just got mine. It looks similar but better than the examples above (Justin seems to be using his full sig for a start). Although everyone is using a black pen, they are all different thicknesses so it is pretty easy to see who did the personalisation  (Dan Hawkins in my case).

I received mine from Banquet. Happy with the personalization and it being directly on the digipak and not an art card. Signatures leave a little to be desired (looking particularly at you, Frank), but I'll take it. I'm not sure who did the personalization.  Banquet told me that the signed copies are divided amongst the band members to personalize, so it sounds separate to the signing.
