Someone in RACC just took it to a JSA show in person and the experts there voted it down. They haven't posted proof yet. But I believe them. I'm going to figure out a return to wayne store right away.

So you have a link where we can see this? Or proof it was turned down? I’m finding NOTHING about any denial or being turned down…

I've been trying to take a break from this hobby, monetarily succeeding, but still come back to these forums to see whats going on. I refused to take a chance on these and have been sitting back watching in the shadows with a different set of eyes. I have not seen ANY out in the wild signed the same way he signed in the short video clip.

This release, to me, seems like there were more than 1 people helping out, doing their best to sign as close to Carter as possible. There is no proof of this of course and the reason why TPAs won't make a final determination on these yet is because artists can change up their signature for sit down releases. They can't just jump the gun and cause panic. It could possibly turn into a legal nightmare for them for causing a huge wave of returns and lost revenue regardless if right or wrong BUT they need to get this right for that and other obvious reasons. Nothing can be 100% verified without seeing recent examples of Carter's signature to see if he has switched things up. Its a process that will take time.

I had no faith from the start in these and still continue to suspect they are fake. Did you see how long it took him to sign just a couple for the video? I'm not sure his lifestyle would allow for him to sit down to sign thousands of these unless he was back in jail. This is all opinion of course and has no weight on the final determination. Anyone can change if they want to but its proven that we are creatures of habit and most people will never change.

In the end, the only thing that matters here is, did he sign these or not. For whatever its worth, my personal opinion is he did not at this stage. I could still be wrong and its possible my opinion could change in the future with more research and time, but I doubt it will.

Dont listen to me though. The point of my previous comment, which was made in jest, is to do your own research. Don't listen to some guy on social media or even me... half of the fun in this hobby is to do your own authentication. If you need to rely on 3rd partys to tell you your signature is real, chances are high that anyone not doing their own research will be scammed over and over.

So what have we decided? No good? They issued me a return label today.

I returned my CDs and Vinyls and shipped it back today. JSA roadshow rejected it, Beckett couldn't make a decision on quick opinion. It was worth the gamble, but honestly looks like Lil Wayne had 6 different people sign batches like him. Not worth selling on ebay to potentially sell fakes and not worth sending them in for authentication.

It'll be interesting in a couple months if any people get authentication "passed" by Beckett/JSA/PSA. But I'm not going to hold my breath. Kind of disappointing along with the album. I'll still gamble again with Carter 7 or whatever big one he ships out. Atleast it was ink this time. Incredible what some artists can get away with.

I got my return label today as well...  EVERYONE is saying they are fake.... I dont see one person on RACC saying that they think that these are real... at least they are not being a PIA about returns like Bon Jovi and others have been....

I mean there's tons pissed about the signed stamps from earlier drops that hated on it immediately without too much thought. Then a bunch of hopeful people that they were lazy signatures. So it was kind of a hard call, but not worth the headache. I'll pay double later on if they start passing authentication, but it'll probably be a hell of a time. None will come back until 7/14 or so. The lil wayne customer service was pretty straight to the point and didn't fight me too much. Good call.

Anything yet…. Still no proof?  I feel like by now someone should have got a authentication or a denial..

Pretty sure I've seen denials. Refund that trash before it's too late.

Can you show this proof then? I’ve found nothing of the sort.

I only found one on Etsy with a certificate of authenticity…

So if it hasn’t been proven by now I’m going to say these could actually be legit!!!!!
