From what I am told the bots have their ways to get around captchas and the waiting rooms. And the purchases are almost instant. Considering some ebay sellers have 12+ of these listed to me means bots grabbed almost all of them. I also haven't really seen anyone on fb auto groups, reddit, or here say they were able to get them.
This is the 3rd time this year I've gotten a waiting room and have not got the item. I get that they are great for helping the sites not crash, but the bots obviously don't mind them which seems to screw people like us. Typically i have been lucky and my Shoppay info all ready and can checkout very fast. But the waiting room pretty much voids that.

I can see them beating captcha but how can they beat a link that doesn't exist yet and would it be possible for bots to avoid the checkout delay? If so, this means bots bought 100% of the supply

Bots are programmed for key words and they know which websites can drop them - in this case it was well known it was Republic Records.. the second anything gets uploaded the programmes get them.
If you look on X and Insta and Facebook groups not a single human got one copy.
Republic could justifiably cancel the whole drop and the only complainers would be the bulk buyers not individuals

I'm starting to look into bot stuff now. Not sure if I'll ever have the patience or time to figure this all out (I've got way too much going on in my life right now) but thought I'd put some info here as a starting point for others. Maybe if everyone starts using bots, companies will figure out how to bypass this issue. So I encourage everyone to try to look into this and set up your own bot if possible???
Please if someone has better info, post it here. I have too much going on and lack the energy involved to get into all of this full time right now but it seems like the info may be out there for anyone to take advantage.. here is a bot set up as an example but comments make me think there are better options.

Ugh I had both mailing lists 43 minutes ago I didn't see the email was watching tv went on and the page doesn't even take you to the item and I can't even find the page.
I even purchased using the signed page the last time which turned out to be unsigned copies in the confirmation email.

I had been watching the listing today, hoping there would be a restock at noon. The listing disappeared almost an hour before, and I never saw it go back up, so there's that.
