Just bought a Michael Jackson autograph on Ebay. Is it authentic?

The seller says it was signed in 1990 on the back of a personal Michael Jackson photo that is rare (to me). The photo is real, but is this note and signature? Thank you.

I'm sorry but I don't think this is genuine. I don't think it's even close.

Any thoughts

Grant, I'd love to see a better image of the album you uploaded, but I think it's very likely genuine. Get some more input if you're considering it. Hopefully Roger will comment.

I'm still not able to judge the little compact sigs like this one, and because of that, I generally steer clear of them. You hear alot of talk about secretarial sigs, but when it comes to MJ, I've always thought it possible that one or more of his body doubles could have theoretically signed some things over the years. Then again, maybe I watch too many X-Files!

This might make sense if it were signed much earlier, as it sounds like something Michael would say. In fact, I'm sure I've seen this exact phrase on other pieces. Michael's signature in the 90's was huge (much like his career!) See my profile pic for an authentic early 90's MJ sig. Big fan of the man and his music :)

No this isn't real sadly. Its a very poor forgery, if that was the original intention. The "We Are The World" is questionable but more like what it should be but gut says also forgery imo.

I'm with you, Robin. My gut says no on this one too.

The photo is never the issue - its who signed it. Sadly, I don't believe Michael did either.

From Michaels I have seen my gut says no as well on this piece.
