I'm not familiar with that book in particular but own 2 signed dark shadows books and was actively searching for a cheap signed version of his art book for a while that was signed and also included a signed litho. I missed out on a few cheap versions that has both by minutes and gave up. From what I know, this does look like his signature. Also, helps that I found a JSA authenticated version of the same book here

In our experience, it's an original autograph. He signed four autographs for us to help with charity auctions, and they're all very similar.
