I kept getting an ad for this and thought it was off - I then realised it’s in at Sothebys. Crazy! Doesn’t look right at all to me.

The whole signature flow is off. The style of the J, to the high peak of his "n" and everything in between. Even if real, I wouldn't want it in my collection because of how atypical it is.

That looks real to me. It's signed in felt-tip on uncoated, porous stock and perfectly placed. He was more careful than usual.

But what's really important is that the chords are so easy I can play the song. I had no idea!

It's Bogus...

Not authentic IMO. 

I know it is sold by Sotheby's as part of a prestigious library collection (manuscripts of Gluck, Beethoven, Liszt and Stravinsky, among others) but I have to admit I don't like it at all. It just does not have the flow or shape I would associate with 70s John even at his most sloppy.
