Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

It's fascinating that these MJ art forgers appear to copy each other...

I've just noticed an 'MJ-signed' Pinocchio drawing on Reddit, with the question 'Does this look real?'.

I don't recall seeing this drawing previously, but the MJ signature (and drawing style) does remind me of some fake-signed MJ cartoon drawings which were listed for sale on ebay by a UK seller in 2020-21, and mentioned on this thread. So I'm sure that this Pinocchio drawing and signature is NOT by MJ.

....and this Pinocchio is another example of forgers copying forgers, in this case a copy of a fake 'Peter Pan with glove' drawing from Dec 2018.

Someone who purchased one of the many fake MJ drawings from Williamson Auction Gallery on liveauctioneers on 30th April 26, is now trying to make a hefty profit by re-selling it on ebay, asking for $10,500.  The new ebay seller is migng4621 from Portugal.

Potential buyers should be aware that buying an item previously sold on an auction platform does not provide 'authentication'.

Michael Jackson Original Signed Drawing - Road Runner w/ Auction Provenance

Title: "Road Runner in the Desert"

Medium: Colored pencil on perforated notebook paper.

Dimensions: 18 × 25 inches.

Provenance: Won at Williamson Auction (April 30th Collectors Edition).

The sales of the fake drawings from Williamson Gallery Auctions on the liveauctioneers platform are turning into a fraud nightmare.  Another of the fake 'MJ-signed' portraits bought from Williamson is now for sale on ebay at $2,100, from MikesMarketplace1776 in Utah.

Purchased from Williamson Art Gallery in Hollywood, Florida.

Another fake MJ drawing - Fred Flintstone - has been listed by seller  MikesMarketplace1776 on ebay for $3,500.  This fake drawing was documented on page 1 of this thread, in December 2014.  The seller mentions that this Flintstone drawing, as with the fake MJ drawing of Lisa Marie Presley listed above,  was also purchased from Williamson Gallery Auctions, FL.  Interestingly, the Fred Flintstone drawing is not mentioned as having been sold by Williamson on the liveauctioneers platform, so I'm guessing that the seller asked Williamson about other drawings in their possession which were not yet listed for sale.

Seller's false description: RARE SIGNED Michael Jackson Original Fred Flinstone Drawing 12x18 Autograph

Purchased from Williamson Art Gallery in Hollywood, Florida.

(The subject in the description of Flintstone is given as Lisa Marie Presley and the dimensions are given as 15 x 11 inches AND 18  x 12.inches, so clearly a lot of confusion going on here).
