Correction, I did find a John from 1969 on RR but that is all.

Wow, that's quite a piece. Any idea what it sold for and when? Have you seen any others or know why 1960s are exceptionally rare it seems? Thanks for the reply.

I see it on Sotheby's, asking $15k.

Yes, most of the ones I’ve seen are from the seventies. I’ll have to check for others from the sixties. Apparently that one is currently for sale by Sotheby’s for $15K.

I checked my exemplar file and found two John signed checks from 6/13/69, one from 9/24/69 and a John signed traveler’s check from 12/28/67. Nothing else from the other three.
