You posted a discussion about this yesterday and got some feedback.  Are you expecting a different answer today?

Where did you buy it, and when?  Is there a chance to return it?  

What sort of guarantee does that Memoraze card/sticker offer?  (Is there anything written on the back of the card?).

You could always submit it to a reputable authentication company for their opinion.

I owuld not trust that, there are a lot of forgeries of Messi out there.  He has an agreement with Icons.com and there are a lot of counterfeit certs with Icon photos etc going for a couple hundred dollars.  The ones on the website are in the thousands.

Hi Arad,

I think the consensus is that it is NOT real.  But there was a good suggestion to submit it to an authenticator.  Beckett, for example, will issue a quick opinion for maybe $10?  All you have to do is go to their website to start the submission.  They will ask you to attach a Pic so they can view it.  The 2 you posted here should work great.  If they think it could be genuine, you will need to mail it in and pay a full authentication fee so they can examine it in person.  That $10 quick opinion fee would apply against that charge.  If they deem it not authentic, perhaps you can try and get your money back from your dad's friend.  He probably assumes its real...unfortunately there is a lot of money to be made selling fakes and I have definitely bought my share.  Good luck!

It says it is down for maintenance.  But Google "beckett quick opinion".  Once their site is back up you can follow the instructions there.  No idea what forms of payment they accept.
