This isn’t authentic

hi ballroom, could you tell me why please?

It’s slowly drawn and misshapen with bad letter formations. I’m wondering if it’s a forgery of a facsimile signature.

Facsimile

Absolutely not authentic for the reasons stated by Ballroom - just a little hint. Lennon almost never fully formed and looped the o in either John or Lennon. The o in John should look more like an a (mostly in later ones and open at the top in earlier ones) and the one in Lennon should look more like an e (or just a squiggle!).

Not even close...We never used to answer when people would say "What's wrong with the signature?"...just in case the forger was online and wanted to know how to correct his forgery! The letters are all wrong...

I think we should tell people why we know an autograph is likely fake. Nothing is more important than an educated collector.

no chance
