Please upload images of your pieces to get opinions. You should get enough input here to know if they're real or not. If you consign to an auction house, they'll handle authentication. So no need to spend money for that until you figure out what you want to do it them.

I am uploading the docs.  Both are framed under glass.  What makes me think the are authentic is the cross through on one and the fact that both have the name Metzenbaum written on the back.  He was the senior senator from Ohio at the time and worked on both bills.  These were acquired in Columbus, which is where Metzenbaum lived.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Interested in your thought about authenticity, value, where would be the best place to offer these for sale.  Sorry about the number of pics.  If they are not real somebody thought they were.

Rob,
these are official gov't printed "Red Line" bills and have what more than likely will bear out to be printed signatures, as opposed to autopens. Only an in person inspection with proper equipment, or an exact match with another identical impression would be definitive in this case.

As such, they are still worth about $100. I'd suggest properly describing them as above and placing them on eBay.

Actual signed bills do exist but are usually the souvenir "blue line" copies or have both facsimile and original signatures. These sell for upwards of $1000, depending on what the bill may say.

Curious as to the Metzenbaum on the back.  He was involved in both pieces of legislation and was a powerful senator at the time.  Would they not sign docs for him.  Also some of the pen marks look strayed.  Would a printer or autopen do this?
