I recently bought this autograph in the hope that it was authentic. I've recieved a few through the mail autographs from Clint over the past few years and I know this isn't a sec just by looking at it. But it looks a little too clean and neat to be an authentic :/ What do you guys think? I really hope it's an authentic.

I am by no means a knowledgeable Eastwood guy, but i do see quite a few authentic examples pretty often on autographworld and other places and am somewhat familiar with what his sig looks like. Based on that limited experience, i dont think this is a legit autograph. At least it doesnt appear to be in line with his current autograph.  But that definetly doesnt mean that its not an earlier autograph or something of that nature. Im sure his sig has chanaged over time, and that could very easily be what this is. But if this is a current signature, i would say No to it. But hope its good for your sake

I thought it was widely and well known that Clint uses a secretarial signer for his TTM requests?

Clint does use a secretary for TTM autograph requests but I didn't get this one through the mail, I bought it. I did a bit of research before I bought it and I found an Eastwood autograph from a book signing he did in the 90's and it looked just like this one which is why I bought it but I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks for your replies :)

before I loose track who has some secretarial TTMs they have received that can post so I can load them into my secretarial thread (or add directly) http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/secretarial-autograp...

but on the subject the 1st two are purported to be authentic and we have in another thread ruled out the 3rd; Although on the first one how do you substantiate such scrawl!

 and the one in the subject appears to align with the one above (last one).;

Wow :O I think i'll ask for a refund after seeing that! The guy seemed to have a pretty good sellers rating and looking at some of his other autographs from people I had recieved in person, they all looked authentic so I thought i'd get this. But those photos above have persuaded me otherwise.

Below is a TTM secretarial I recieved about 2 years ago...

The seller rating doesn't necessarily mean the seller knows or doesn't know authenticity across the spectrum regardless of what the listing says.

thanks for the secretarial as I will paste it into the secretarial thread.

Hey bro the picture is not that great but this is one my friend got in person...sorry for the small image...I know for certain the TTM autos are not authentic and are pre prints or autopens...but even though the image is some what small it is 100 percent authentic

Hi,

I consider myself in most autographs but Clint Eastwood's has always been one that stumped me. A friend of mine told me that the below examples were obtained in person. By looking at them they looked to good to be his sig. But then I looked at some of your examples and these look close. Could someone kindly give me their opinion?

Thanks,

irv

Hi Irvin, I don't like either and the second might be secretarial but it slows in the loop and might just be a forgery.
