That was one of the things that I looked at. But, I think I've seen a couple where there is a break there for one reason or another. Not like this one though, where you can tell there seemed to be a noticeable pause.

Have you taken any of Garry King's AFTAL autograph courses? He's helped convict a number of forgery sellers.

i dont really rate AFTAL as a whole, but i rate certain individual sellers.

and the answer is no i have not taken any courses as most of these courses are based on basic forensic know hows, it would be kind of like teaching me to suck eggs, however, i would be interested in specialist courses that focus on a certain category for example, being a muhammad ali specialist authenticator, elvis presley authentication, as it would mean more.

its ok learning doing bits and bobs of each autograph but to truly have meaning, you need to learn extensively and educate yourself to the highest point possible of the persons autograph.

i would rather have a coa from a specialist in that autograph than a psa/aftal/jsa etc it just means more and makes the item alot more valuable.

like ive seen discussed on here, theres no way psa authenticator would know where to start and be able to tell an english footballers signature , like wise an AFTAL authenticator would not know where to start with an american football player signature.

as long i know know about the stuff im interested in thats all im bothered about, i dont want to get too involved as i wouldnt want to make a mistake because i know if i did, i could become a good personal authenticator to a crap one that everyone avoids and talks bad about. however i am confident that i wont make a mistake and would not render an opinion on an autograph i have no experience in.

Here are a couple of 1969 Elvis autographs that are examples of what were commonly seen from the late 60s into the early 1970s. Both checked out by Roger. The contract signature was in part 2 of our Elvis signature study.

Thanks for everyone's opinion. Steve, I got an email from a man stating he had a Las Vegas Concert Menu from Bonhams Auction House in London some years ago (2001). He had lost all his paperwork.

Personally I'm not 100% on Elvis autographs, as they change so much over his years. I also like asking for other people's opinions on here just to make sure.
