Scan looks black, but it is in blue ball point ink.  Front of the photo is a black & white photo of Elvis with 706 Union Ave, Memphis printed on the bottom.  Suns Studios address.

i believe it to be genuine, matches elvis handwriting to me from genuine exemplars i have seen
