This was given to me by a relative a 4 years ago because they know that I am into the Beatles. They told me it is 100% authentic. They have a picture taken by some one else of Paul just about to sign it. Welcome any feedback on the autograph.

this is a horrible forgery. you can see the starts and stops in Paul.   Unless he changed his name to Pail?

I think it is a FAKE autograph.

To be fair, I have seen a lot of Pauls signatures where he has only put one part of the U.

The full "u" is there. The beginning of it overlaps with the "a", so it's a bit difficult to see.

Look what I found on Google could this be Paul actually signing the autograph we are discussing. Same photo right time?

Paul Mccartney I think signs left handed . So he would reach out sign with his hand backwards to give the angle the item is signed at.

Paul originally wrote with his right hand. When he first took up the guitarhe found he could only play it left handed. Over the years has gradually used his left hand to write more.I would say the photo is being held out for signing.

Only way this autograph is real if he signed it with his foot .

These forums are great. The bannter could never be fake. I hope my inlaws don't login.

Do you think its 100% authentic ?

It was a nice gift from your in laws.  Real or not .

I don't collect this era of The Beatles. I have never really thought about this autograph. But since joining this site all of the Paul Mccartney questions prompted me to get your opinions. I now very much doubt its authentisity. It was a gift so i will still enjoy it for the kind act.
