I hate to say it, but based on these, I have serious doubts about the Obama you posted, Dennis. It doesn't have his crispness in the small letters.

These where the same autographs I was comparing when I was looking at the item . I saw a few bills he signed into law this year . They all have the same style signature.

I sent the autograph to my buddy who is a authenticator at one of the big companies and he said it was no good as well . He is gonna look to see how many come in with this style signature. Cause I told him of the story of them collecting the items to be signed for the volunteers. So maybe someone else may be signing them in the back . But it will take time to see what happens.

I was contacted early today on this signed photo prior to the post by Dennis W. Allen. After our on line examination I sent Mr. Allen this response via e-mail.

this signature is highly questionable.  the most troubling aspect is the shape of the B. Virtually all of his signatures have a more oblong or angled shape on the upward stroke.  this one is more circular.

Steve it was signed in Sept at an appearance here in Terre Haute, me and my son worked on his campaign.

That explains why it's such a nice autograph. I thought it was signed early in the year because he signed mostly "BO" once he got the nod. Did either of you actually see him sign it? It's clearly his signature, but I'm just curious.

Yes Steve, it was a limited event I have some nice photos and video met him talked to him shook hands I guess it was a perk for being a veteran and having worked on Presidential security details before.
