On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

As I've mentioned to a few folks now, either the Estate will blow this right out of the water----and nail him, or stick out their palm.  (my opinion)

Thank you very much for calling.   I know others did too and have not mentioned the outcome here, as they were trying to get it formalized lol  - which of course didn't happen either (in writing)

...will fully support the truth "whatever that may be".

um. I know I'm not the only one seeing how easily JB could brush this away by claiming an earlier date of manufacture.  Just like the dollar discrepancies between what outside entities have calculated/estimated the Estate has profited since MJ death versus what the estate has declared.

Dates and dollar amounts are easily thrown around.

Well, very good!! I'm very glad they are bombarded by emails because that will feed back to the estate. Maybe now they'll understand that there is a problem that might not go away so easily, and that this could be hugely damaging to the 'brand' (since money is the only language these people speak).

And they know the fans are watching very closely. Hopefully that's enough for them not to try brushing anything under the carpet.

And maybe, just maybe they'll take another look at those "autographs" while they're at it.

Me: Extremely cynical but holding out for ..... (I can't say it) "hope".

Forgot to say THANK YOU Sandy for your efforts.

The Girl Is Mine :))

.. and it was made after Michael had died. Michelle and i have that in writing from Felix. he would not say if there was a prototype. but since he's dealing with all this through the proper channels and will not disclose anymore with me. i'm guessing there wasn't one presented to Michael!

Oh wow. You did it. You guys are incredible.

I hope by "proper channels" he means the police. This is evidence of fraud. And I hope they put to the police that this fraud is bigger than a single item.

I did also email Felix and five others listed on Bravado's site last week but received no replies, so decided to call.
Maybe others keep calling and inquiring?
Maybe bit by bit will be revealed in conversations and we compile here.

I was encouraged he seemed to be taking it very seriously.
Lets not be too defeatist and keep FOCUSED on THIS standee because it is the best hope of PROOF we have at this point.
I also forgot to mention that I told him Julien's has threatened lawsuits against some questioning the authenticity, he thought that was ABSURD and no basis for them to do that.

Thank you Sandy for all your hard work.

Justin can you please post the " in writing" from Felix stating standee was made after MJ died?
Dying to see that.
Thanks!!

WE DID IT ALL!!
I think it damn near close to say this is a slam dunk now.

My only regret is we did not buy one of the forgeries to be a part if the lawsuit/prosecution.

I think we need to keep the pressure up to make sure they realise how big this fraud is, that the standee is just the tip of the iceberg.

At what point do you guys think we should go back to the media? Because *this* is a juicy story and, best of all, verifiable beyond a shadow of a doubt.
