i just got back from the sundance movie film festival and had a great trip, there were only about 5 stars who didnt want to sign autographs for me, i was cofused by a couple of them robert redford amy ryan kareem abdul jabbar and tommy lee jones and ben affleck, robert redford was as always mean, i had him one on one at the airport and walked with him for about 400 feet he refused to sign an autograph the whole time, i also was shocked when amy ryan wouldnt sign an autograph for me at all, she would always say she was late for something, kareem abdul jabbar would always say he had to get to the airport,tommy lee jones wouldnt even look at you he didnt sign once and ben affleck said there were to many professional autographers for him to sign james franco signed 8 photos he was so cool, mark ruffalo 7 kevin kline 6 elijah wood signed 6, but he was difficult the first 3 times i saw him even runnig away from the 3 of us trying to get him, the next day he was really nice and signed 2 for me at his hotel, then the next day i caught him flying back to la and he signed 4 photos for me there,julianne moore 5 she is usually only 1 at a time though maybe 2 if you get lucky david hyde pierce 5 signed all 5 at once, jesse eisenberg 5 really nice guy signed 40 photos for some guy at one time,tilda swinton 5 signed all 5 at once, malin akerman 5 signed 2 at once then the other 3 at another time, extremely nice enjoys her fans,ryan reynolds 4 i did get the guy 4 times, but he was never nice when signing at all you could tell he didnt want to do it at all, michael chiklis 4 got him at the airport on all of them, kind of cool he became a fan and wanted a picture when he saw donny osmond, lady antebellum 4 they were great and the whole group was extremely nice, ryan gosling 4 was probably the nicest celeb at sundance anytime you saw him he took time out to take pictures and even sign autographs he even would tell his publicist that he had time, even when they were trying to take him away, andie macdowell 4 got her at the airport she couldnt have been any nicer and was very personable, jared leto 4 he was also really nice and i got him at the airport, catherine keener 4 she was extremely nice and took time everytime you saw her, sometimes she would say only 1 but if you asked nicely she would do the 2 one for you, orlando bloom 4 never said a word but would always sign everytime you saw him,adrian grenier 4 very nice guy lucas black 3 extremely nice came over for the premiere of get low sissy spacek 3 she signed going into the premiere and coming out michael shannon 3 signed a lot going into his premiere wilmer valderrama 3 signed whatever you handed him and said you guys better go see my movie if im going to sign all this stuff for you, josh radnor 3 signed whenever asked,paul dano 3 signed whenever asked and was nice, jon hamm 3 he didnt sign on the way into his premiere or on the way out but after going to the after party he signed, adam brody 3 signed whenever you saw him, diego luna 3 signed whenever you saw him, mike vogel3 was kind of tough at first but did end up getting nicer matt scannell(lead singer of vertical horizon) was extremely nice and signed whatever melissa leo 3 would sign 2 at a time katie aselton 3 signed and was shocked we recognized her naomi watts 3 she signed and was pleasant, juliette lewis 3 she was extremely nice and signed pretty much whatever you handed her, chace crawford 2 he said pick 2 out of my 3 photos amanda peet 2 she would always say im pregnant and try to get to places very quickly,danny masterson 3 got him at the airport even told me that his brother was coming in later that night and to look for him thomas ian nicholas 2 signed them both at the airport and was very talktative tim daly 2 at the airport jason ritter 2 signed 2 at the airport robert duvall 2 he signed a bunch after his premiere, he even brought bill murray over to start signing bill murray is a tough autograph to get but must have signed like 50 autographs, he wouldnt sign for me though saying that he didnt like my photo, philip seymour hoffman 2 wasnt the nicest but did sign morgan spurlock 2 lyle lovett 2 was very nice adrien brody 2 very nice when at his premieres but extremely difficult away from them justin bartha 2 he was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the attention he was getting kate mara 2 she would sign but made sure to only do 1 at a time treat williams 2 very nice richard marx 2 josh hutcherson 2 very nice kerry washington 2 she was not easy at all, she tried to turn us down like 5 or 6 times before actually signing, after i told her i was from minneapolis she turned extremely nice, parker posey 2 she absolutely hates the blade shots of her and would sign them but would complain about it michelle williams 2 was nice louis ck 2 laughed at my photo from the invention of lying jimmy smits 2 very nice joel schumacher 2 would sign them 2 at a time kevin zegers 2 shawn ashmore 2 john carroll lynch 1 very nice guy rebecca hall 1 very nice chris cooper 1 extremely nice chris masterson 1 oliver platt 1 would sign but wasnt the nicest often asking if we were going to sell the autographs snoop dogg 2, went thorugh his posse to sign a photo and rolling stone for me john ortiz 1 signed whatever you had and was bumming smokes of people marisa tomei 1 she was the toughest autograph to get next to tommy lee jones, she signed only 3 i was lucky enough to get 1, she always would say i dont see any real fans out here, what is a real fan in her eyes we all pay money to go see her movies isnt that enough, jonah hill 1 would sign but wasnt nice bradley cooper 1 he showed up unexpectedly but was very nice renee zelwegger was the exact opposite she only signed 1 autograph on a baseball and said she hates doing this kristen stewart 1 she wasnt friendly nor unfriendly aaron schneider 1 the director of get low very nice man levar burton 1 john legend 1 very nice body guard told him not to sign and he said he had time colin hanks 1 samuel l jackson 1 would always say i already got you josh duhamel 1 very nice fergie 1 very nice aj buckley 1 jeremy strong 1 rob epstein 1 bob balaban 1 ricki lake 1 dakota fanning 1 mia wasikowska 1 was very tough to get her publicist was a b**ch joan rivers 1 katie holmes 1 was tough because of all the photographers around her but if you got close enough to her she signed ari graynor 1 lil jon 1 america ferrera 1 leann rimes 1 and here is a list of all the people i got on blank 8x10s constantine from american idol ron livingstonkevin sorbo eddie kaye thomas donny osmond sammi levine roger ebert rudy guiliani olivia munn lea thompson omar benson miller bob saget mykelti williamson 2 he refused to sign forrest gump stuff david wells shiloh fernandez 2 david cross brandon boyd he refused to sign 8x10s but did sign a blank tom coliccio amber tamblyn jared harris and jill zarin from real housewives, this was my trip to sundance , ohh yeah i also got jim kelly on a football he was extremely drunk when i got him

Holy Cow, Michael! You totally racked! I need to make it out to the festival someday - maybe next year. I'll hit you up for some more advice when that happens, but thanks so much for your input!

I went to Gene Wilder's last book signing here in San Diego when he stopped here on his tour. It looks like he has a new book out and is doing another tour soon. FYI, he would not sign any outside items, and his handlers helped to enforce that. However, I sent a photo out to him via his publisher and got it back signed a couple of months later. It is a great silver autograph on a Willy Wonka 8x10!

I am seeing a lot of posters on ebay and such from the "movie premeries" hologramed and #'d supposedly for the VIP bags given at the event.. is this a legit practice? and how does one check those holograms?

if anyone who is selling or has bragged about getting a hand-signed autograph from Andy Griffith within the last 5 years or so, there's about a 99% chance it is fake... i have heard from a close source that his wife signs autographs thru the mail...

Jason - He normally says that he can't sign due to health but I know that he did sign in Los Angeles about 2 years ago.  The signatures were very shaky. Some he just signed with an "X."

Added Seth Rogen to an 8x10 previously signed/personalized by Elizabeth Banks. Rogen was in Boston to do a Q&A following a screening of his new flick, "50/50".

The screening started at 7:30pm and Rogen arrived at 9:40. I was the only one waiting and he stopped despite his handlers insisting there was no time. (It sure isn't a graph that takes long to sign.)

On Wednesday night Chris Mullin was rumored to be appearing at the premiere of the ESPN documentary on Chris Herren in Boston. While scrutinizing every Escalade in the area, I noticed one with a familiar face riding in the passenger seat--Jeff Bridges! (He's in town shooting "R.I.P.D." with Ryan Reynolds.) I followed him a short distance to his hotel where he signed an 8x10 and took a picture with me. I ended up getting Mullin a few minutes later though he wasn't very engaging (i.e. didn't acknowledge me at all).
