Scorpions Album Autographs?

Hi. My mom won an Ebay bid on this autographed Scorpions Love At First Sting album. She wants to give it to my dad for his birthday. However before she dishes out money, she wanted to know if this is genuine or not.

It comes with a Mead Chasky hologram and comes from a seller who has been selling since 1998 with a feedback score of 50085. His name is jhustle1.

My dad has an authentic signed Blackout Album signed by Klaus Meine and it seems to match up with this one. However I have no clue about the Rudolf Schenker or Matthis Jabs autograph.

I found out a little about Chasky. He apparently works with stars such as Evan Longoria and has a website claiming he was an autograph pioneer. Opinions on this would be great. It seems like the real deal, but then again, it could be fake.

Kevin- Mead Chasky is one of the best in the business, you better believe if his hologram and coa is with the item that it is 100% authentic. He has several athletes under exclusive contracts and was Gary Carters go to guy for almost 30 years. He had an exclusive deal with gary Sheffield, Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrerra, Darryl Strawberry, Evan Longoria and many many more. He does actually obtain every autograph in person and he has workers with him so he witnesses every item being signed. So with all of that being said I would venture to say that what you have is real. i do not know the signatures that well but if it comes from Mead there should not be a problem.

I am curious as well. A while back someone posted some music items certed by Chasky mixed in with items certed by a seller named Team Derek. Those items were all questionable to me, and the board seemed to agree that they were bad. I cant comment on this item though.

Yes, I started that discussion.  The items I posted were from the same ebay seller, jhustle1.  He mixes the Chasky items with the Team Derek items.  I don't think the Team Derek items are any good, but I would like to have a final answer on the Chasky items as he has a reputable name to defend, at least in the sports industry.

All I have discussed with are of opinion that Mead Chasky is Pre-dominantly sports memorabilia. And the company is defunct now. So making holograms in bulk is cheap and in no way a measure of authenticity. iMHO

Well someone is still running his eBay ID, so I'm not sure how defunct the company is.  The items pictured in the listings do not have holograms on them, but the listing states they will arrive with holograms.  This implies that they are still out there getting autographs, authenticating and selling under the Chasky name.

         If anybody has any doubts or questions about Mead Chasky, I can personally guarantee that he is one of the most honest and trustworthy people in the autograph  industry. I would stand up and vouch for him second to only Michael Wehrmann when it comes to autographs. Mead Chasky's name is as good as it may ever come when you talk about authenticity.  Mead Chasky was my partner for many many years and without question would be considered one of the true pioneers of the autograph and memorabilia industry. Mead Chasky has been involved in the autograph industry for over 30 years.

Mike - can you confidently say that the Mead Chasky items offered by ebay seller jhustle1 (like the 3 below) and the Scorpions album posted above are authentic?  If so then I think everyone has their answer.

To be honest I have never heard of jhustle1, so I do not know their relationship. I would assume if The MC hologram is on the item that it came from Mead. My point was you can always just speak directly to Mead and get the whole facts. I gave the link in my last post but you can call him @ 718 261-3412. Let him know that I gave you his number & info. He is just returning from Florida from Earl Weaver's Funeral and a Gary Carter Charity Golf event so today may be a bit difficult  to reach him.
