Hi everyone, I'm new here, but have been reading alot of the interesting discussions on Beatles autographs. This is a very useful site!

Anyway, I'm wondering if I could get some opinions on this item i recently picked up.

Its been 'signed' by the Beatles, and it looks like someone decided to tear off the George signature. I've attached the pictures as image_01.jpg.

Now looking at the piece I'm happy with the John, it seems to match with known examples, and from other examples it seems to be late '63 or '64 some time. I've attached another image with a few examples of real Lennon autographs, showing similar 'J' in john, and the 'E', in Lennon, picture image_02.jpg.

All in all, I like this John signature. And I'm pretty certain it isn't Aspinalls.

So now onto the other signatures, which are obviously fakes. However, comparing this set to another which were all written by John, picture image_03.jpg. There are similarities, which make me believe John may have written these aswell, especiall the Paul.

The main one is the'McC' in McCartney, notice how both have this like a John capital 'E', and the join between the 'M' and 'cC'. There are also similarities in the'Paul', the curve on the 'P' and the loop in the 'l'.

The Ringo, I'm not sure about. Again there are similarities with the set written by John. I dont think this is an Aspinall either.

Its a shame the George is missing, and I'm wondering whether this was real or John one...we shall never know!

So, what do you guys think? Do you like the John, and do you think the others have been written by him? Its odd the pens have changed, but I've heard of examples of John signing for a fan, and going inside to get the other Beatles...so maybe this would explain the pen change?

Any thoughts or opinions on this would be much appreciated.
