The guys fantastic feedback is interesting though but although I'm just a learner I am dubious. He has had the sketch on before as well.

You should be. Feedback isn't always a good indicator, and those items are pretty bad in my opinion. One appears to have "Cheers" spelled with three "e"s, while the other appears to have "Paul" spelled with two "u"s.

For the beatle experts here. does Paul ever put his last name in parenthesis like that (2nd link). I have never seen this before, granted i havent looked at the library that some others have.

I don't think so. This one does look real to me, and I suspect that it was used as an example to create the other one.
