Just saw this being sold locally on Craigslist.Seller states it was bought at an estate sale in San Francisco. It does not have any paperwork but they said it did have a letter of authenticity and picture with details but they lost it.It says the person who was having the estate sale was involved with the cow palace and that there were a bunch of pics of her with Elvis at the Cow Palace in '78 along with alot of other music/sports newspaper clippings from concerts etc. and a few other items that were framed.I'm not real familiar with any of these signatures and would like any input on this piece to help me decide whether or not to try and make them an offer.Any input would be gratefully appreciated.Thankyou

Well first of all, they'll have to come up with a better story than seeing Elvis in 1978, considering he died in 1977.
Lol
My bad,I posted this while I was a little tired!Nov. 28 1976 is the date they gave.LOL
This is a copy of Elvis's album(with vinyl in great cond) Roustabout signed by Elvis,Scotty Moore ,and D.J. Fontana on the cover.Elvis signed "Love ya Elvis Presley" in what looks like ball point or birro pen,Scotty signed in black marker and DJ Fontana in blue. This was purchased at an estate sale in San Francisco some years back. There was another album with just his signature that was framed and a framed shadowbox with a concert used guitar strap (seen in the pic)and scarf and ticket stub with a pic of him wearing the scarf from his show at the Cow Palace on Nov. 28 1976 .The owner of the estate was a higher up for the department of food and Ag and had a massive binder full of newspaper clippings and pictures of different concerts and sports events and had a bunch of pics of Elvis from stage level plus a picture of her with Elvis after the show with the said scarf and the 2 records.I purchased the album that was not framed since it had 3 signatures on it.I had the picture of her holding the albums plus a receipt and a letter of provenance but misplaced them when I moved. This would make a great Mothers day gift for any Elvis fan!I am willing to take reasonable offers so please message me and I will discuss prices.
Looks like a Moore & Fontana signed piece and someone added a fake Elvis Presley signature to add to the value of this lp, in my opinion.
The million dollar story is a meaningless red herring since all the proof was "misplaced". Typical scammer BS. The term "estate sale" is enough to make most people here cringe right off the bat.
As for the signatures themselves, Elvis looks close but no cigar to me. I'm not overly familiar with Fontana and Moore, but they stopped playing with Elvis around 1960. So there'd have to be some other story about when they signed, because it wouldn't have been during this alleged encounter at the Cow Palace. Jake probably has the right idea.
Not only is the Elvis Prelsey a bad forgery - the DJ and Scottie Moore signatures are fake as well.
Thanks for all the feedback.I am not real familiar with anything Elvis and wasn't sure but I decided to pass on it.
