Which is yours? Because the only one that stands out to me right away is the first top left one but there is another just doesnt look right either (just in terms of comparing the examples here)....then again I know absolutely nothing about Jimi sigs at all, I'm just wondering. Or were you saying they are all real, and you are just giving examples? Sorry, I'm a Jimi fan but never got around to collecting much on him. Best of luck with your Sig though
And I only say the top left one looks different because of the J. But again, I know nothing about Jimi. Just tossed my 2 cents in.

Hi Mercury, mine is top right, the one that says Be Groovy. I purchased mine in 2002 from very reputable registered dealer who ordered from USA and I paid AUD$1969. The others are also authenticated examples owned by other collectors, as comparison.

Well, I hope nobody minds me tossing in my views on this thread. As I said, I know nothing about Jimi sigs. But we all as collectors have been burned in the past. That's not to say its fake. And not to say that its real. But either way, as long as you're happy with it, and trust your dealer, that's all that matters. Its a treasure to you. You believe its real, so take comfort in that. These men are serious collectors, so they know their stuff...if it does prove to be fake, its ok. Its part of the learning process. If it turns out to be real, then you made a wise choice in buying it. But please take comfort in knowing that we have all been there at some point in the past. We've all been winners and losers while collecting. Either way, you're not alone. Best of luck in your search to find its authenticity.

Here is one from Christies...

This is not authentic and I believe they refunded this one.

Look at the 2nd 3rd and 4th images in this thread:

Did Ira and Larry Goldberg sell fakes?

What did Roger say Sean?

Also check this one out...I can't help noticing Jimi Hendrix autographs very often have a slight fade on right on the 'd' by using light pen pressure just as Grant Vandestreek pointed out on his study of Jimi. Mine also has this fade. I am no expert but I would think this is pretty hard to forge!

Grant is very good with Hendrix but his writing often confuses readers.  I see that he confused you too by not telling you the ones he posted on another site were not authentic.  Proper communication is needed when writing on blogs not confusing riddles.  That is why he can no longer write on this site.

I just really hope that this Hendrix signature doesnt hit ebay as in my eyes it doesnt compare with the authentic examples that have been posted. The slant, baseline, letter formation, letter angles, word connections, and salutation formation all fall flat. And when i compare legit Hendrix's i almost always see the same traits, but this example lacks those. From the naked eye, it does look similar to some authentic Hendrix items Sean, but when you examine it closely under amplificaiton and using paint to help create baselines and angles, it becomes much easier to see. But i am curious as to what the authenticator will say and who he is. Did the seller give you a lifetime warranty Sean? One thing you might want to do, even if you dont believe this auto is fake, is to contact the original seller. Let him know whats going on and see how he reacts. If he has no problem with a refund, then that at least gives you a good solid out, if you should change your mind and want to return it.
