Hello everybody!!

I absolutly love when members here at AML post examples of beautiful autographs that they have in their collection. So I thought I should start a thread where everyone who wants, can post a photo of their favorite autograph and maybe write some info about why you especially like this one!

Hopefully some members will chip in!! :-)

Ok, I´ll start:

My favorite autograph is a 10x8 photo signed by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons & Gary Tallent from The E Street Band:

I wanted this so bad when I first saw it, because I´m a huge fan of Springsteen. But unfortunally me economy usually sucks, so it took me a long time to save up enough money to buy it. And every day that went by, I were worried that someone else would buy it before me. So when I finally bought it, I were extremely happy!!! :-)

Someone else??

PS. Sorry if this has been done recently, but I can´t remember seeing a simular thread. I know that there is a thread about the rarest autograph, but that´s not the same thing... :-)

Today I got a new favorite :)

WOW! Nice Tiger! He is HARD to get. What was your approach/story if you don't mind me asking?

Combination of Luck skill and patience. He signs just have to be in front and be lucky,

Thanks Alastair for showing, really cool!

One of my favs too. Wish I had a Bon Scott. Nice

One more of my favorites is this postcard of one of the scenes from the movie "The Black Stallion", based on Walter Farley's "Black Stallion" children's novels/series. Walter died in 1989 and his eldest son, Steven (who's a freelance writer), has continued writing stories about the "Black Stallion". This particular card that Steven sent me is historically significant as he signed and dated it a mere 4 days after the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, where Steven lives sometimes. As seen here, he also made a sketch of the Twin Towers. I was finally able to meet Steven, along with his younger brother, Tim, and their mother in Jan. 2009 and decided to have Tim sign it, too.

I just want to say I have seen many great autographs.I am so busy with my job I only have time to look at them but don't have time to respond to them all. Thanks. Great thread

Don, this is such a great idea!  but many of us have our "favorites" from different areas, like sports, music, historical, entertainment etc.  would it make sense to initiate some other more focused threads like this? like your favorite music autographs, favorite sports, etc?

Yes terrier, I'm quite owerwhelmed by the interest in this thread! I was hoping for maybe 4-5 responses... :-)

I actually like this mix of different type of autographs, because this have given me a chance to see some fantastic autographs that I think I would never have seen otherwise. I don't think that I would have read a thread about for example historic or baseball autographs if they were listed in a specific thread "just" for them...

But hey, I havn't got a copyright for this idea... :-) If you or someone else would like to start another thread with specific autographs, please go ahead and do so! If that mean that more fantastic autographs will be listed, that's great!!

Don, I too think this is a wonderful thread.  I followed the moment it arrived in my in box.  Great finds everyone, and I too like the diversity of it all.  Very very cool, and a lot of history being shared. :)
